WorkAdventure for Microsoft Outlook
If you are a Microsoft Outlook user, we highly recommend using the WorkAdventure's Microsoft Outlook add-in. It will allow you to directly schedule a WorkAdventure meeting room from Outlook.
The WorkAdventure add-on for Microsoft Outlook can be installed either globally for your organization or individually for your account.
📘 Documentation: Deploying an Outlook Add-in via Microsoft 365 Admin Center​
🎯 Objective:​
Install and deploy a custom or AppSource Outlook add-in for all or selected users in your Microsoft 365 organization.
🧩 Prerequisites​
Before starting, ensure the following:
- You have a Microsoft 365 tenant.
- You are signed in as a Global Administrator or Exchange Administrator.
- You have access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center: https://admin.microsoft.com

🚀 Step-by-Step Deployment Guide​
Prequis​
If you have a personal Microsoft account, you can install the add-on for your own use.
Step 1: Log in to Microsoft 365 Admin Center​
Go to: https://admin.microsoft.com
Sign in with a Global Admin or Exchange Admin account
Step 2: Open the Integrated Apps section​
In the left-hand menu, click: Settings → Integrated apps
Click + Deploy Add-in at the top
Step 3: Choose How to Add Your Add-in​
You’ll be prompted to choose how to deploy the add-in:
- From the Office Store → Search for your add-in if it's listed on AppSource
- From a file → Upload the .xml manifest file from your computer
- From a URL → Use the public HTTPS URL to your hosted manifest file
Select the appropriate option and click Next
Step 4: Configure the Deployment Scope​
Choose who should get the add-in:
- Entire organization
- Specific users/groups
- Test deployment (just you) You can later change the scope.
Step 5: Accept Permissions (if needed)​
- Review the permissions required by the add-in
- Click Accept to proceed
Step 6: Finish Deployment​
- Review your choices
- Click Finish Deployment You’ll see a status page showing that the add-in is being deployed. This may take a few minutes to propagate across user accounts.
Result:​
The add-in will automatically appear in Outlook Desktop, Outlook Web, and Outlook Mobile for targeted users No further action is required by users — it's silently installed and activated
🔄 How to Manage or Remove the Add-in Later:​
Go back to Microsoft 365 Admin Center Open Settings > Integrated Apps Select the add-in → Choose to Edit users, Update manifest, or Remove
